Is Cowboy Wealth A Scam?

Is Cowboy Wealth A Scam?

Well, this is my first attempt at a review of any kind of MLM-ish online product/service. So here we go…. “Is Cowboy Wealth a Scam?” seems to be a popular question found online lately. Their website paints a pretty picture of what your life could be like if only you didn’t have to go to the dreaded 9-5 and work your tail off. But you have to fill out a form that includes your name, email address and phone number to get any information from them.

So, I understand why people who are curious about the Cowboy Wealth System are turning to online reviews first, before handing over their contact information to a strange website. If this is you, join me and let’s get to the bottom of this thing.

What In The Heck Is Cowboy Wealth?

Is Cowboy Wealth A Scam?

According to their website, Cowboy Wealth is an international team of independent marketing executives that partner with an undisclosed E-commerce company that teaches people how to achieve total wellness.

First, they will educate you in proper diet. Then, “Through Groundbreaking Technology” they will show you how to save a ton of money on just about everything that you buy. And lastly, they say they help people eliminate debt, reduce tax liability, increase monthly cash flow, etc.

And then it goes on to ask you to consider how different your life would be if you got paid every time someone shopped online, or filled their car up with gas, or went out to eat at a restaurant. Sounds like a heck of a deal to me but what’s the catch ya know?

Well, to find out any more info from them, you have to fill your info, including your phone number, so they can get in touch with you. And that is just a big turn-off for me, personally. I have fallen into that trap before and have paid the price. Non-stop calls from telemarketers all day, everyday…..no thanks!

Is Cowboy Wealth An MLM?

They swear on their website that they are not an MLM or Network Marketing Company. So, I did a little research and found something interesting on someone else’s review of Cowboy Wealth. On the review, they said that CW wasn’t anything at all. It’s a website put together by distributors of an MLM company known as Melaleuca.

So I did a search for Melaleuca and they’re an online wellness shopping club, an MLM. The company was created in 1985 so it’s been around a while. They’re a legit business but I’m wondering if this Cowboy Wealth website is just an attempt to recruit unsuspecting people to this Melaleuca MLM Club.

If this is true, they’re doing it in a dishonest way, and I just can’t get behind that.

And even if you want to try to make money with this business or any other MLM, It’s tough. The only way that you make any money is by selling over-priced products that hardly anyone wants to buy. I’ve never worked with a MLM but from what I hear, it ain’t pretty.

Pros & Cons

The Pros:

  • The only good thing is that all-in-all, it is a legit MLM company,

The Cons:

  • The Cowboy Wealth Website is pretty vague.
  • They lie about not being an MLM.
  • You have to give up your contact info to get more information.

Is Cowboy Wealth A Scam?

It’s pretty sketchy in my opinion. I don’t mind giving out my email address to receive information of a product/service that might be interesting to me. But I do not recommend giving out your phone number for that purpose.

I mean they talk about how you can get a check every time someone spends money online, or at a restaurant, etc, But they don’t give you any details about how that is even possible.

My recommendation would be to look somewhere else. Seems like a scam to suck you in and join someone’s MLM scheme.

Conclusion

“There’s a sucker born every minute” is a famous quote that comes to mind. Don’t be a sucker. This Cowboy Wealth business website is not up front and honest with you from the beginning, and I don’t trust it. There actually are many legit ways to make money online. You just have to do some research.

Legit Way To Earn Money Online

Research. Research. Research. I was obsessed with finding a way to just earn passive income online so that I could quit my full-time job and work from home. And that’s when I found Wealthy Affiliate and began to learn about online affiliate marketing.

Even though I wasn’t computer-literate at all I borrowed my wife’s laptop and followed through with the training and tasks. And unlike Cowboy Wealth, WA is upfront and honest with you about what you need to do to succeed in online affiliate marketing.

  1. Hey Billy. I would like to thank you for sensitizing us on the various legit ways to make income online and I do appreciate your great works. I also admire some of the benefits you laid on the Cowboy Wealth like educating people on dieting and helping folks to save more as they purchase, etc but I also don’t trust it because keeping people’s phone numbers is a bit skeptical. Moreover, the fact that they keep the identity of the E-Commerce company they work with private means that they are not 100% transparent. What do you think Billy?
All in all, I will follow your programs of earning income legitly and I already have one of your URLs. Your works are so good and I love them. Thanks.

    1. I’m glad that you enjoyed the post. Thank you. One thing that I have learned from online marketing is that unless a person or a business is being 100% transparent with me from the beginning, I will not trust them.

  2. The great thing about Wealthy Affiliate is how transparent they are and they really care about it’s members.

For Cowboy Wealthy to not admit it’s not an MLM is kinda fishy. Although the company may be legit, if they arent giving the type of value it says, then I wouldn’t really invest in something like that.

Been online for 4 years and never heard of Cowboy Wealth, but doesn’t seem right for me.

    Thank you and great post.

    1. Thank you for your comment. You hit the nail on the head. The only problem that I have with them is they are not being transparent on their main website. Whereas, Wealthy Affiliate is up-front and honest with you from the beginning.

  3. I believe if you sent an email Melaleuca and reported this website “Cowboy whatever” lol, you will find these people get taken down as Melaleuca being 1 of the best online shopping companies does not allow it’s members to market or advertise like this.

I’m not saying they are a scam site either but it seems to me they are a type of MLM trying to sell all kinds of other peoples products. A weird mlm if it is

I wouldn’t get involved with them that is for sure and great post sharing this

  4. Hi Billy,

I always prefer to read enough information before providing any of my personal information. Often some programs and products want us to sign up or provide our contact details even before knowing what exactly we are going to learn or do. All they will tell us is we can make money, that’s it.

Without knowing about the exact product or program we need to enroll ourselves and then they will bombard us with email after email promoting things which we don’t actually need.

Thanks a lot for the helpful review and your review is going to save people time, trouble, and effort.

    1. Thank you for commenting Paul. I don’t get involved with these businesses because many of the products that you will be selling are over-priced and usually stuff that nobody really wants anyway.
